Senior Project 6
Mimi and I had our bake sale Friday, November 26 at the Schuylkill Mall. We had family members help donate some baked goods to help our cause. During our bake sale we raised over $300.00 and we are still collecting donations from family members and friends. We spent many hours on Thanksgiving getting everything ready and preparing for our bake sale at the mall.

Senior Blog 5
My partner and I are having a bake sale at the mall on Black Friday in order to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Family members and friends along with ourselves are making the baked goods. We got in touch with the Schuylkill Mall managers and the NEPA Affiliate with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I also met with my graduation advisor Mrs. McDonald. She stated that our idea sounded good and that it would work out. At our stand on Black Friday we will have a bulletin board with many facts on breast cancer. We will also have pamphlets to hand out with every purchase of a baked good.

Senior Project 4
My partner and I have started to collect information on breast cancer and the awareness of breast cancer. We have found statistics and facts on the amount of people effected by this disease. We will begin finding a place and all the materials we need to make this project successful.

Senior Blog 3
My partner, Mimi and I have reached a problem in our project. Instead of working a stand at an ABD football game we'd like to sell t-shirts and still raffle off a basket full of breast cancer awareness items. We came to this conclusion because there was only one more ABD home football game and we wouldn't have had enough time to buy the items and get everything ready.

Senior Project Blog 2
For me and Mimis senior project we would still like to work with and fundraise for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Instead of raffling off items at a sporting event we'd like to try and have a stand at Ashland's Applefest. We would also have pamphlets on hand for people to look more in depth at Breast Cancer, to help them really understand what we are doing this for. My partner and I would also find information on Breast Cancer so even we have a better understanding of the effects it has on people and ways you can help get involved with people or survivors of the disease.

Project Proposal
For our Senior Project me and Mimi planned to fundraise for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Which is a foundation that helps with breast cancer awareness. We planned to have a "Go Pink Game day" in order we will let people know what games to wear pink items too. We will be having bake sales along with a donation box. Having drawings and giving away items would also be something we would like to do. All the proceeds would be givin to the Susan G. Koman Foundation for the awareness of breast cancer. For the learning part of our project we'd like to research breast cancer and its effects on people.
